Arguments
1.
It depends on who you ask. But if we ask the Bible, it says both the man and the woman were created on the same day (Gen. 1:27–31). The man was created first (Gen. 2:7), and the woman was created minutes or hours later while the man was asleep (2:21–25).
Yes we know that Yom can mean billions of years, but when an Israelite says “the evening and the morning were the sixth day” there is no doubt what that means in the Jewish mind.
Meditate on Exodus 20:11 and Mark 10:6 for a while also, they help clarify a few things.

2.
Eve was created with Adam, all that Eve was, was in Adam so they were one being. The time it took Adam to name all the creatures which God had made so that Adam would know that All of them would be His subjects is not really given. This could have taken years to accomplish, still it was the sixth day when God caused a deep sleep to come upon Adam, and God took a rib And really all of what Eve was that was in Adam, God took and separated it from Adam and made Eve. But you see, during that period, time as we understand it was irrelevant. The Morning and Evening Day’s were not based on the rotation of the Earth. When the Lord gave the story to Moses it was the simplest way to explain the division of time in Creation.
3.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food. And it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Genesis 1:27–31)
The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2:20–25)
The above passages from Genesis 1 and 2 seem to imply different times for the creation of Eve. In actuality, Genesis 2 describes in details the creation of mankind which is briefly stated in Genesis 1. But the man or human race that God created on the 6th day is defined as male and female (Genesis 1:26–27; 5:1–2). Thus both Adam and Eve carried the family name Adam. Notice that God referred to Adam as “them”, indicating that more than one person was created.
Bsides, the events described in Genesis 2 is said to have taken place “in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.” (vs.4) This agrees with the Genesis 1 account which also states both were created on the same day, which was the sixth day.
Therefore, it is wise to believe that Adam and Eve were created the same day but at a different interval. Of course Eve couldn’t have been created on the 7th day when “God finished his work that he had done, and he rested … from all his work that he had done.” (Genesis 2:2) Clearly, mankind is the crown of God’s creation (Psalm 8:4–8) and Eve is regarded as the mother of all the living (Genesis 3:20).
Here is a good response to “Eve’s Birth Certificate Was Eve created on Day Six or not?”:
The Solution
People may think the creation of Eve happened later, because the Bible doesn’t go into full detail about Eve’s creation until Genesis 2. However, if you look at Genesis 1:27–31, you find that God created both Adam and Eve on Day Six (male and female). Genesis 2:7–25 provides more detail about the sixth day of Creation than Genesis 1:24–31 does. The fact that they’re both actually describing the same events explains away any contradiction. Also, we need to read carefully andnot add our own ideas into the Bible. For example, some people claim that Adam couldn’t have possibly named all the living creatures in one day, so they think the creation of Eve, which occurred after this event, had to take place later. However, Genesis 2:20 says, “Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field.” It doesn’t say anything about his naming sea creatures or creeping things. Also, “all cattle,” and “every beast of the field” (Genesis 2:20) may not mean the same thing as every “beast of the earth” (Genesis 1:24); it was probably a smaller set that represented all types of beasts of the earth. Adam only named the animals God brought to him, and besides, he had most of the day to do it. Before the Fall, Adam’s brain was perfect, so he shouldn’t have had problems coming up with names. It has been estimated that only a few hours would be needed to name the animals.
Conclusion
So Adam had plenty of time to name all the animals God brought to him—leaving plenty of time for Eve’s creation on the same day. Eve was created on Day Six, just like the first two chapters of the Bible say.
