The Chairman of Bariga Local Council of Lagos State, Kolade Alabi is recuperating and responding to treatment, The Nation has learnt.
Recall Alabi reportedly slumped at the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting held at the party’s Secretariat in Ikeja, the state capital, on Wednesday, May 7.
Alabi, who is the state chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), was addressing party members when the sad incident happened.
Fortunately, he was subsequently revived and rushed away to the hospital in an ambulance for further treatment.
Although there is no official statement on the incident, one of his aides who spoke to The Nation disclosed that his principal was responding to treatment.
He further attributed the situation to stress, disclosing that Alabi was subsequently rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment, and he’s hale and hearty.
