The Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of four residents of Akpoha Autonomous Community in Afikpo Local Government Area. The victims were reportedly kidnapped on their farms by yet-to-be-identified persons on July 24, 2025. The spokesperson of the command, Joshua Ukandu, said that the Divisional Police Officer, Afikpo Division, confirmed the incident on Thursday, July 31.
