The Executive Committee and members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Port Harcourt Branch, have extended warm felicitations to their esteemed colleague, Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement e-signed by the Branch Secretary, Obum Nwoye, FICMC, the association described Ohagba—fondly known as “Okey-is-OK”—as a consummate Bar man and exemplary leader whose dedication to the legal profession continues to inspire many within and beyond the branch.
“The EXCO and members of the NBA Port Harcourt Branch celebrate our colleague, Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq, as he marks his birthday today,” the statement read.
Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007, Ohagba has been deeply involved in Bar activities at both the branch and national levels. Over the years, he has served in several capacities, including National Secretary of the NBA Young Lawyers’ Forum (YLF) Governing Council (2012–2014), First Assistant General Secretary of the NBA (2016–2018), and member of the Board of the Corporate Affairs Commission (2013–2015) representing the NBA.
He is currently the National Secretary of the NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), the Secretary of the NBA Port Harcourt Branch Advisory Committee, and a co-opted member of the NBA National Executive Council (NEC).
The branch commended Ohagba’s record of excellence, diligence, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the legal profession, noting that his service to the Bar and humanity reflects true leadership and dedication.
“He is renowned for his commitment, diligence, and excellence in service to the Bar and humanity. We wish him many more years of God’s blessings, victory, and renewed strength in service,” the statement added.
The NBA Port Harcourt Branch concluded the message with hearty wishes:
