An Abuja-based school where the parents of one of their students stormed the school premises and ass@ulted a teacher for sl@pping their child, has wielded the big stick. According to Nigerian educator, Alex Onyia, the school authorities have expelled the student and have also banned the parents from coming close to the school premises. The parents who he identified as Mr and Mrs Balogun had went to the school to confront the teacher after their son informed them that his teacher had slapped him. During a meeting with the school management, the teacher said he slapped the boy because the young boy pushed him twice. This got the parents infuriated and they reacted by being violent towards the teacher. A video shared online showed them charging towards the teacher and raining slaps on him.
