Past National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., has extended warm felicitations to the leadership and members of the NBA Garki Branch (Liberty Bar) on the occasion of their 2025 Annual Law Week.
In a goodwill message addressed to the Anthony Bamidele Ojo-led Executive Committee, the Law Week Planning Committee, and the entire branch membership, Ohagba commended the choice of the theme: “Law, Technology, and the Society.”
He described the theme as “apposite,” noting its timeliness in addressing the evolving intersection of legal practice, innovation, and community impact—particularly in an era where global technological advancements are reshaping jurisprudence, governance, and societal frameworks.
“As we convene to lend our own voices, may our deliberations elucidate our collective vision, fortify our professional resolve, and reaffirm the Bar’s pre-eminent role as the steadfast arbiter and societal guide amidst these contemporary paradigm shifts,” Ohagba said.
He wished the branch a successful and insightful Law Week, expressing confidence that the event would contribute meaningfully to ongoing discourse on the legal profession’s adaptation to emerging technological realities.
