President Muhammadu Buhari has wished the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema, a speedy recovery after he tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our source reports that Geoffrey Onyeama had in a post on Twitter revealed that he had contracted Covid-19.
The Minister tweeted: “Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive.
That is life! win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best. #StayHomeSaveLives #COVID19 #PTFCOVID19.”
Reacting in a post on Twitter, President Buhariexpressed gratitude to Onyeama for his support in fighting to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
He wrote: “I wish Geoffrey Onyeama speedy recovery from Covid-19. Nigeria is eternally grateful for his diligence in attracting international support to defeat the pandemic and boost the economy. He has been a tireless worker and a strong pillar of our administration.”
