Former Super Eagles striker Joseph Akpala has been appointed caretaker head coach of Belgian Pro League KV Kortrijk. Akpala will take temporary charge of the modest side following the dismissal of erstwhile head coach Glen De Boeck. This is third time Akpala will be taking charge of the De Kerels this season. The 37-year-old served as interim head coach before the season started.
