The Anambra State Police Command, Ikioye Orutugu (CP) has decorated the nine recently promoted officers.

Decoration of the concerned officers took place at the Police Command Headquarters Awka.

CP Orutugu in his speech commended the personnel in the command for their professionalism and dedication even as he tasked officers and men of the command to be more proactive, responsive, and show courage.

He stressed the need for all personnel work according to the Nigeria Police Act as well as shun any form of corruption in the line of duty this year.

CP Orutugu particularly congratulated the newly promoted officers on their well-earned promotions, emphasizing that such advancement represents recognition of dedication, professionalism, and exemplary service.

He urged the officers to uphold discipline, integrity, and leadership in all aspects of their duties, highlighting that promotion carries increased responsibilities and accountability.

The CP also reiterated the IGP’s directives on withdrawal of personnel assigned to VIPs and a halt on the enforcement of tinted vehicles until otherwise directed.

The Officers elevated include: SP Adedeji Anietie, SP Andrew Gabriel, SP Emmanuel Nnaemeka, SP Adeyemi Lateef and 5 others to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
