The Minister of State for Works, Mr. Bello Goronyo, has pledged tireless efforts of the ministry to driving Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda in delivering quality road networks nationwide.

He said the roads would help to promote national unity, economic growth, and sustainable development.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media to the Minister, Abdullahi Mohammed on Sunday, reaffirmed Goronyo’s dedication to national development through the execution of critical infrastructure projects.

Goronyo made the statement during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the National Association of Nagarta Old Boys (NOBA), held in Sokoto.

The Minister, who is an alumnus of the institution and a Grand Patron of the association, expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to reconnect with his former classmates and fellow alumni, describing the gathering as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the growth and development of the school.

He recalled the significant role the college played in shaping his character, values, and leadership journey, which culminated in his current position as Minister of State for Works under President Bola Tinubu.

The minister said as an old boy of the institution, he carries the spirit and values of Nagarta College into his national assignment of transforming Nigeria’s road infrastructure.

According to the statement, “The Ministry of Works remains fully committed to driving the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with a focus on delivering quality road networks that promote national unity, economic growth, and sustainable development”

Goronyo reaffirmed his dedication to national development through the execution of critical infrastructure projects, and pledged to continue supporting the school and similar institutions in all possible ways.

The Minister announced a donation of ₦2.5 million to NOBA to aid the development of the College, including other ongoing initiatives.
