Let’s take a closer look at Psalm 23:4 today, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me…” (emphasis mine).
I want you to really see and consider that word through.
Remember, you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. You’re not there forever, but you will come out on the other side!
Hold fast to the promise of His presence; maybe even say out loud the very words of the psalmist: “I will fear no evil; for You are with me.”
Friend, let me encourage you again: God cares a great deal for you. He’ll lead you through your valleys, and He wants to set you free from fear.
When you walk where God wants you to walk, there will be opposition. God may bring you face to face with your impossibilities and say, “Do it. Conquer it. Take the land. I will help you.”
I encourage you to read and really ponder Psalm 23 today. Consider how deeply the Lord, your Good Shepherd, cares for you: He protects you, guides you, provides for all your needs, restores your soul, and more as He leads you through life.
