Liverpool Team News Ahead of Nottingham Forest

While Wataru Endō is sidelined for an undetermined “long time” after his injury away at Sunderland, Jeremie Frimpong is near a return — though this weekend is too soon for the young defender. As such, Joe Gomez — who is fit to start following two substitute appearances — could well feature at right back, though an out-of-position midfielder is never out of the question this season.

Conor Bradley, Alexander Isak and Giovanni Leoni are the other long-term absences for Liverpool, with no return estimates yet on the books even as Isak gets ever-closer.

For their part, Nottingham Forest will be missing Willy Boly, Nicolo Savona, Matz Sels, John Victor and Chris Wood.
