Residents of the town of Fairfield, Texas have had a difficult week following the death of Jenifer Cleveland on Monday, July 10. She was a highly valued member of the community. Cleveland was apparently left in an unresponsive state after undergoing unidentified surgery at the Luxe Med Spa in Wortham, Texas. He later died while being transported to Parkview Hospital in Mexia. However, Cleveland’s close friends and those she worked with want to remember the kind of person she was and how, while still alive, she had a significant influence on the community.
Five of Cleveland’s years of employment were spent at the I-45 cafe in Fairfield. According to his colleague Mildred Blassingane, customers came to the café not only to eat, but also to interact with Cleveland and share the space with him. “Nobody liked her, she was very loving,” Blassingane said of her. “She made friends with everyone she spoke to and with everyone who comes,” we can say about her. It’s a terrible situation.
It was almost time for Cleveland to celebrate the end of its first full year working at local KNES radio station 99.1 Radio. Although this was Cleveland’s first job in the radio industry, the position of program director at KNES, which she held for a short time, was her first, Buzz Russell claims she has dove with both feet and that she was an exceptional employee.
“She loved people, people loved her,” Russell explained. “She not only led by example in how she lived her life, but she also led by example in how she loved.” According to Russell, his wife refers to Cleveland using the phrase “Love, Life, Jen” while talking about the city. Cleveland was a wife and mother of four children, and she is survived by her husband, Brian, and her children.
According to reports, police are now launching an investigation into Cleveland’s death and are performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death. They have made no further disclosure regarding the probe at this time. On Friday, July 14, at the Twisted Vines Event Center, there will be a rally to honor Cleveland and celebrate his life.
